about the Click Start series

Background :

The ClickStart series was born out of frustration. At the end of last year (2007) we had a wonderful new, and colourful language in Vulcan.NET, yet no sample code and syntax to work with - of any great depth or body. So, as I fumbled my way through one problem after another, I made notes for myself - so that I would not need to repeat the painful procedure. Because I was to attend a local User Group meeting, and address a few colleagues, I tidied things up a little and gave out some supporting notes. Since it was easier to make and update an electronic set of notes, I discovered H&M and made a start. With another helpful suggestion from my friend and colleague John Parker, who said that the notes would 'Kick Start' people into Vulcan - the idea crystalised, it was to be 'ClickStart' in honour of my mouse.
